Coronavirus Safety Measures During Worship
Safety measures:
1. We will have hand sanitizer available. If you want masks or gloves, you will need to provide your own.
2. We are asking the deacons to look after arranging for cleaning between the services-- primarily wiping down the rails on the pews and the communion trays, and door knobs.
3. Use common sense-- Please don't needlessly disregard social distancing. If you wish to break protocol you can do that elsewhere.
4. Care will be used in preparing the Lord's Supper. Distribution will be by an elder, a deacon or the pastor alone handling the trays (no passing of the trays).
5. Please sit together as families or with the people you travelled with or with those you are already associating with so we can maintain a measure of social distancing. We will mark off pews.
6. We are asking you to bring your own Psalters. If you do not have Psalters, we will give you a used one that you can take home with you (and keep) or drop off in a box not to be reused in the next service. If you want to buy a new one at a cost of $20, let us know and we will have them for you.
Some things to keep in mind:
1. Respect your fellow worshippers. Some worshippers will not be as careful as you and some will be more careful. Expect this and be both patient and respectful of each other. Read Romans 14 for Biblical principles on this.
2. If you have symptoms of illness, please do not come. Livestream will be available.
3. If you are not comfortable with coming or are high risk, we understand. Livestream will be available. On the other hand, if you want to take the risk, it is your choice.
